Delicious. I bought a case of old Franconian monastery beer for the holidays. I tipped this almost completely alone behind the bandage. Was really good
Always delicious. Friendly staff
Super good food Simply delicious and nice staff
Food very good! Schäufele sensational !! Service very nice! We'd love to come back. Small downside are the toilets.
Very friendly service. Very good food and lobby very good beer. We would love to come back.
Great cozy atmosphere. Food was good and the prices cheap. Nice hiking in the area. I almost forgot. The beer is world class 🍻
Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the order and then one was even completely forgotten. It wasn't the first time. But the food was ok
Eaten very very well. Were served extremely friendly. You don't have to go hungry here. A traditional inn. We'll be back even though it's a long way, but it's worth it.
Excellent brewery with very nice service. We were there on Wednesdays. This is the day of the knuckle. The varying daily offers should be emphasized. Both the portions and the quality of the food were great. The in-house brewing specialties are a dream. The in-house IPA craft beer is a must for IPA friends. Unreserved recommendation.
Good staff, good food. Prices acceptable. Executive floor under all sow.
Home-style delicious hearty food and their beer brewed next door! Yesterday it was like at WIES'N there, from the delicacies and smells and the rush of people. You shouldn't just go there for dinner, we were in Teufel's kitchen, at the Teufelstisch u rocky finger, not to mention the limestone terraces of the Kalkach at the beginning of the tour. Lovely!
Unfortunately, you are second choice guest in the beer garden. Friendly service but the menu is not the same as in the restaurant. We asked if there was also something from the restaurant: No, unfortunately only that on the mini menu .... That was the answer .... 10 minutes later, the neighbors had a shovel from the restaurant ..... a shame. Food was still very tasty
A very nice real tavern with a Franconian menu. Also large selection of small dishes and snacks. If you want a dish of the day like shashlik, order it in advance on Thursday.
Super delicious food, decent portions and especially the friendly staff. Really great. We would love to come back.
Great hearty economy with great, tasty food. Good beer. Different types of beer freshly brewed. The waitresses are very nice and always ready for a little chat. Highly recommended!
extremely long waiting time. 1 hour !!!!, although the beer garden wasn't quite full on a Saturday evening. You have to pay in advance, otherwise we would have left long ago. After an hour at least the salad came, but no food for a long time. At least the food was good
By far the best Schäufele I've eaten in 40 years. Brilliantly good. In addition, great service and a very nice waiter. It couldn't be better.
Good beer and good food, the staff very friendly great atmosphere.
Delicious, especially the pepper knuckle highly recommended? And the staff is very quick.
Beer and Radler were very good, friendly service, quick though much business. Food was okay, but would not travel for it
Urban...👍🏻
Good beer
Brilliant beer! Location is awesome.
In itself a nice beer garden, but: 1. It was very busy. 2. Drinks self-service. 3. Food must be paid in advance but will be brought. 4. The toilets were stained. 5. No card payment possible 6. The breadcrumbs were over-salted and the sausages were very dry. Beer tasted good.
The starting point for the Fünf-Seidla-Steig Best beer on the trail.
My everlasting choice, in Nuremberg, Germany. It's almost 30 minutes drive, yet it's more than worth. Excellent bears + fresh food 👌😘. Not to miss place.

Lovely food and staff!!
The first, or last brewery on the Fünf-Seidla-Steig. We chose to finish the Fünf-Seidla-Steig here and it was a well earned beer. The beer garden is situated under a lovely mature wisteria which provided much needed shade from the strong sunshine. Plenty of beers on offer and they buck the trend by serving traditionally behind a bar rather than table service. Located only a few minutes walk from the train station affords maximum beer garden time before reluctant departure.
The food was great and the beer was greater.
Many start the Fünf Seidla Steig here but for my money, I like to finish in this great atmospheric monastery. The food and beer are amongst the best on the circuit and the train back to Nürnberg is conveniently close.
Nice and shady beergarden. Good IPA called Green Monkey. Outside is self-service, only meals are being served by a waiter.
Great land beer!
Very good food and beer, great Biergarten
Super
One of the stops on the 5 Seidla Steig - Great beer and decent food!
Close to beer. Closter to perfection.
